By accessing or using Soundle ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Soundle is operated by an individual based in France and is accessible at soundle.io and app.soundle.io.

2. Description of Service

Soundle is a music discovery platform that connects to your Spotify account to create and manage personalized playlists. The Service analyzes your listening preferences, top artists, and saved tracks to generate recommendations and automatically refresh your playlists with new music.

3. Beta Service Disclaimer

Soundle is currently in beta. This means:

  • The Service may contain bugs, errors, or unexpected behavior
  • Features may be added, modified, or removed without notice
  • Service availability is not guaranteed and interruptions may occur
  • Data loss may occur, although we take reasonable precautions to prevent it
  • The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind

By using the beta Service, you acknowledge and accept these risks. We appreciate your feedback as we continue to improve Soundle.

4. Eligibility

To use Soundle, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years old
  • Have a valid Spotify account
  • Comply with Spotify's Terms of Service
  • Provide accurate and complete information when creating an account

5. Spotify Integration

Soundle requires access to your Spotify account to function. By using the Service, you:

  • Authorize Soundle to access your Spotify data as described in our Privacy Policy
  • Authorize Soundle to create and modify playlists on your behalf
  • Acknowledge that Soundle is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Spotify
  • Understand that changes to Spotify's API or terms may affect Soundle's functionality

You can revoke Soundle's access at any time through your Spotify account settings.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or exploit the Service
  • Not use automated systems or bots to access the Service
  • Not impersonate others or provide false information
  • Not interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

7. Intellectual Property

The Soundle name, logo, and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by Soundle and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.

Music content, album artwork, and artist information displayed through Soundle are the property of their respective owners and are provided through the Spotify API.

8. Pricing & Payments

Soundle currently offers free and beta access tiers. We reserve the right to introduce paid features or subscriptions in the future. Any changes to pricing will be communicated in advance, and you will have the option to continue with free features or cancel your account.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Soundle and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data or content
  • Loss of playlists or music preferences
  • Service interruptions or downtime
  • Any issues arising from Spotify's service or API changes
  • Unauthorized access to your account

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to use the Service (if any) in the 12 months prior to the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

11. Account Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at contact@soundle.io.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in behavior that may harm other users or the Service.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
